Dedicated to Health Awareness, the 16th staging of the Martin's International Culture Annual African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL), featuring reggae superstars Junior �One blood� Reid, Beenieman, Cham, Gregory Isaacs and more than one hundred other acts. The festival takes place Thursday July 3rd thru Sunday July 6th, 2008, 10:00am to 10:00pm daily, in Washington Park, 55th Street & Cottage Grove Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
Some of the country�s leading communication companies Motorola, Sprint,and Nextel, along with race cars leading organization NASCAR joined longtime sponsors NBC 5 CHICAGO and the Chicago Park District, plus Gatling Community Development and Ideal Health as partners in the mega 16th African/Caribbean International Festival of Life (IFOL), July 4th weekend, for an amazing family celebration of "Bringing Nations Together", said IFOL producer Ephraim Martin.
A highlight of the festival will be the Sprint Racing Experience Simulator, a NASCAR racing simulator comprised of four play stations with a movie viewing room where people can race against up to three other players and have a chance to win prizes.
