She received a Toronto High School District writing award for excellence, which influenced her to pursue a career in Communications. As a recent Broadcasting Advanced Diploma graduate, she plans to further her post-secondary education in Communications. Currently, Renee works as a Traffic Assistant. She aspires to be a Broadcast Journalist who hopes to promote social and cultural awareness.

Sadhna attended Winston Churchill Collegiate where she was part of Honour Society and was actively involved in school activities. Along with winning the prestigious title, she was also awarded the Miss Photogenic title.
Runners-up were Tanzania’s Miriam Odemba (Miss Earth Air), Mexico’s Abigail Elizalde (Miss Earth Water) who also won the Best in Swimwear segment, and Brazil’s Tatiane Alves (Miss Earth Fire) respectively.
The Pageant, which is in its eight staging and promotes preservation and awareness, was hosted by international singer Billy Crawford and the 2004 Miss Earth winner Priscilla Meirelles Almeida.

Trinidadian designer, Claudia Pegus launched her new collection of resort wear, under the label Breeze Resort Wear Couture, on Thursday, November 6 at the historic British Colonial Hilton, Nassau, Bahamas. Joining forces with New York-based menswear designer, Francis Hendy, and Jamaican-born milliner, Marcellas James, both of whom she has worked with on previous collections. This all-white collection includes heavily embellished, richly beaded caftans, sarongs, men's shirts, hats and bags. The clothing are all made from West Indian Sea Island Cotton which is only found on some Caribbean islands and is of very high quality. The line is made possible through a collaboration between United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Islands of the World Fashion Week which took place between November 5th and 8th at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas.

Naomi Campbell's honorary Grand-dad, Nelson Mandela, celebrated his 90th birthday at a star studded event this past Friday. 
Originally scheduled to be a presenter at his birthday concert, Campbell was only allowed there as a guest. Mr Mandela was reported to be disappointed with Naomi after she was arrested at Heathrow Airport wearing a hat bearing the number 46664 - Mandela's number when he was in prison. She attended the concert with Brazilian entrepreneur ,Marcus Elias, who she is rumored to be dating.
The 2nd annual 'Miss Queen of the Islands' pageant will be hosted by NBA star Jamaal Magloire on July 5th at the Rembrandt Banquet Hall located at 930 Progress Avenue in Scarborough.

According to event co-ordinator Roxanne Austin, the new 2008 hopefuls are a better representation of the islands compared to those from the inaugural year. “Last year’s pageant was dominated by Trinidadian delegates (8), but this year no one particular island permeates over the others.” The 2008 contestants will represent several Caribbean nations, including Dominca, Grenada, Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Guadeloupe and Trinidad and Tobago.

Saint International model Sigail Currie is appearing alongside Kate Moss in an advertising campaign for Europe's lingerie brand Agent Provocateur's Bridal line.
The campaign was shot by famed fashion photographer Nick Knight who booked the budding supermodel to star alongside him in a Samsonite campaign.
Sigail was discovered byDeiwght Peters, CEO of Saint International, only two years ago. Since then she has worked with top designers in the fashion capitals of the world. Sigail appeared in an extensive spread in Italian Vogue shot by Stephen Klein and has also made a career highlight walking for the Yves St. Laurent collection in Paris in September 2006 for the Spring Summer 2007 collections.
Sigail was named by Saint boss Deiwght Peters as Model of The Year at the recently held STYLE AWARDS at Strawberry Hill in Irish Town St. Andrew.

From all reports she threw a fit , yelling and just acting hysterical even telling the crew "I am Naomi Campbell" (no...really?)....She have every right to be upset that her luggage is lost , rah,rah,rah but at the end of the day she needs to show some class and get a grip.
