Reggae Icon, Legend, Great, Talent, Bob Marley, musical ambassador for his native Jamaica, was listed at number 19 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 Greatest Singers of All Time List.
Another Jamaican, Toots Hibbert also made the list at number 71.
They share the list with musical greats such as Ray Charles (no.2), Marvin Gaye (no.6), James Brown (no.10), Michael Jackson (no.25), Whitney Houston (no. 34), Luther Vandross (no.54), Mariah Carey (no.79) and Mary J. Blige (no. 100). The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, tops the list which was compiled by journalists, music-industry insiders and artistes including Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, B.B King, Norah Jones, Ozzy Osbourne and Iggy Pop.
