Some Turks and Caios Islands (TCI) women made a statement concerning Lisa Raye Mcoy-Misick (she's not yet divorced Ms Spokesperson) at a local hotel to the press:
Please note these women represent the Premier's party. So how they speak for all of TCI I don't know. They are accusing Lisa Raye of using the media to make a private event public, but it seems to me that they are just adding fuel to the fire. I swear as eloquently as the woman is speaking, she sounds brainwashed to me. Here is a guy under investigation for an alleged RAPE, investigation for CORRUPTION, and who allegedly had an affair with a TV star WHO HE LET INTO HIS HOUSE IN HIS WIFE'S ABSENCE and all the blame is on Lisa?????
Come on.....
That is why men in the Caribbean get away with so much. A man can have sex with his niece, daughter, godchild and still walk around with his head high. He can have 20 children with twenty women and some of the women could be sisters and cousins and we would not call him out. Rather we will put our head in the sand, shut our mouths and just act like life is sweet! Don't tell me that ain't true we have very high rates of incest in the islands and a very dominant culture of secrecy when it comes to sex... For the most part we are very hypocrite....
Anyways, did not want to stray from the little update but them women just made me think about how we tend to idolize our men, especially politicians.....
