Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics, the follow up to 2006’s Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship, is scheduled for release the end of February. Available for pre-order Feb. 10th at Amazon.com.

The lead single, “Chocolate High,” features her former boyfriend Musiq Soulchild, while second single “Therapy” features the vocals of Gramps Morgan from the band Morgan Heritage. His contribution is throughout the song, not so much singing a specific verse as just sprinkling his unique vocals throughout the popish-track. I don't know why it remids me of Shontelle's "T-Shirt". It's much faster, for one, but I guess they both have that common pop feel and smooth vocals.


Arie launched her own label, Soulbird Music, in June, with the release of singer Anthony David’s album, “Acey Deucy.” The artists teamed for the single “Words,” which is up for a Grammy for best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals.
