Nicola was born in the Bahamas to a Bahamian mother and German father. At a young age she ventured off to Germany on her own to see a new and different way of life. They journey there and back to the Bahamas where she currently lives has had its ups and downs. Which both uplifted and strengthed her. She is is like a diamond -beautiful to the eye but tough as ever. I guess her name LionFish says it best. So doh mess wid she, yes....

Known as the "Princess of Dancehall Soul" Cherine has been earning her stripes. She's a singer, producer, director, and acclaimed actress. She starred in Choices on MTV Tempo, and the movies One Love and Dancehall Queen. She is the darling of legendary reggae producers Sly and Robbie as she has several reggae and dancehall hits produced by them, and she recently won the Caribbean Urban Music Award for 'Best Female Vocalist'. Now she is making headway on the international scene with Sir Paul McCartney ( if you don't know you better ask yuh muddah) Bootsy Collins, Wyclef, Britney Spears and most recently, Madonna-- a music industry Icon.

Born in Marigot Dominica, Harella moved to Tortola BVI at age seven. She got her big break on the soca sene as a member of Xtreme band. She is known for groovy tracks such as "Wine On Me" with Onyan of Burning Flames, and her recent hit "Higher" which is getting rave reviews. But don't be fooled. Her range is so wide she could pretty much sing anythinng and make it soud good. I love her cover of "Lonely Am I"

Conscious reggae artist Aima is from the Nature Isle of Dominica. His voice can be at once strong yet soothing. He is a part of Fyah Nation which boasts several up and coming reggae artists from the island. So check out his page. I love the song "Keep It Real", others include "Crucial Times" and "Pretty Black Rose."


The video for his song "My Love" is also on his page, but I like it so much I posted it here. Filmed in the beautiful forest of Dominica, it features other local sites like the Freshwater Lake and the Local Market. BTW don't forget the beautiful Dominican girl. If you didn't know some of the world's most beautiful women come from Dominica!!!!
