Well I told you guys not too long ago that Beenie was set to go to court on June 30th for his tax case. Well the day came and three witnesses testified, two from Inland Revenue and the third was the one who served the summons.
Resident Magistrate Owen Parkins, ordered that Beenie Man return to the Tax Court in Kingston on July 29 when the matter will again be heard.
Beenie Man is said to have failed to pay over $29,290,116 in back taxes and $18,641,254 in penalties, both figures reaching a total of $47,931,370 between the late 1990s and early 2000.
