Mavado has parted ways with VP Records, the label through which he released his debut album "Gangster for Life as well as Mr Brooks...A Better Tomorrow. 
His manager Julian Jones-Griffith tweeted the following on his Twitter page yesterday:
“Mavado is no longer signed to VP Records, the deal has been officially terminated. We are currently exploring the many options b4 us 
“.
