St. Lucia has become the latest Caribbean Community (Caricom) country to place a ban on Jamaican dancehall singer, Vybz Kartel, who had been scheduled to perform here at the end of the month.



A statement from the St Lucian government today noted that in deciding whether or not to grant a work permit to the singer, the government had deliberately refrained from rushing to a judgement by establishing an adhoc committee to discuss the request from the promoters.

It said that the committee was required to look at a number of factors, including a comprehensive research of the history of the artiste, solicit views and opinions of key institutions and organisations in the country and determine the general impact of the artiste’s performance on the population, particularly the youth.


“Having looked carefully at the significant amount of information presented, and considering the views and opinions of the many individuals and institutions as well as available options, the Government of St Lucia through the Ministry of Labour, Information and Broadcasting has decided not to grant a work permits to Mr Adidja Azim Palmer otherwise known as Vybz Kartel for performances at the Hot FM promoted Supreme Weekend show scheduled for April 30 and May 1, 2010.
“In light of the foregoing, and in order to ensure consistency and to avoid discrimination, Government has decided that in going forward, it is essential to establish a permanent committee to review applications for artistes seeking permits to perform in St Lucia,” the statement added.

I am all for protecting the youth, but I think all this banning is going a little too far. If you blame Vybz Kartel for youth violence then what's to stop beer companies for being blamed for teenage pregnancies? There are surveys done which link underage drinking with increase in sexual behaviour among teens. Who is taking responsibility for that??? Which Caribbean governments are stepping up to the plate and holding people accountable??? What about prominent leaders who are involved in the drug trade??? I am in no way making excuses for Kartel, but artists have a right to creative freedom and expression and I just wonder how much of this is really about protecting our young???

Think about it? How many school age children will go to the event ??? I'm sure some will, but by and large I expect the majority would be working adults. Moreover, these teenagers that the government wants to protect know Kartel's music from Internet downloads, or listening to them on the radio. In Dominica Mavado performed a while back and there was so much hoopla about whether he should be banned or not. He came did his thing, made his money and that was that. There was no major incident, that I am aware of.Young people listen to him, and they listen to other acts including Vegas and Bounty Killer. But they listen to Miley Cyrus too and Rihanna (who sings about suicide and making her "Rude Boy" get it up) and MFR and Triple Kay.

I am saying all this to say basically I feel that who wants to go to Kartel show go and who don't want to go stay home. It's not everything he sings I like, it's not everything he sings I don't like. I mostly listen to clean versions of his songs. I know every one is not me, ray-ray ray-rah-rah-rah, but as an artist too I just have to wonder, how do we weigh who's rights matter more?

The man who called 911 as Michael Jackson lay dying in his rented mansion told police he was stunned by what he saw in the singer's bedroom.

Alberto Alvarez, who worked as Jackson's logistics director, told investigators that after receiving a distress call from another worker June 25, he rushed up the stairs of Jackson's home and entered a bedroom to find the singer lying on a bed with his arms outstretched and his eyes and mouth open.

At his side, Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was administering CPR with one hand.

"Alberto, Alberto, come quickly," Murray said, according to a statement obtained by The Associated Press. "He had a reaction, he had a bad reaction."

Two of the star's children, Prince and Paris, came in the room and cried as they saw Murray trying to save their father. They were quickly ushered away.

The account and other statements obtained by the AP depict a grisly scene in Jackson's room in the final minutes before paramedics arrived. Alvarez also states that Murray interrupted CPR and delayed calling paramedics so he could collect drug vials at the scene.

Jackson's death at age 50 was ruled a homicide caused by an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol and other sedatives.

The possibility that Murray may have tried to hide evidence is likely to be a focus as prosecutors move ahead with their involuntary manslaughter case against him.

Alvarez told police he arrived at Jackson's home around 10:20 a.m. He was awaiting instructions for the day in a security trailer outside Jackson's rented mansion when, at 12:17 p.m., his phone rang. It was Jackson's personal assistant Michael Amir Williams, who said Jackson was in trouble.

Alvarez said he was "frozen and stunned" when he saw Jackson on the bed.

Murray then grabbed a few vials with rubber tops and told Alvarez to put them in a bag, Alvarez told investigators. Alvarez picked up a plastic bag from the floor and Murray put the bottles inside, then Murray told Alvarez to put that plastic bag inside a brown canvas bag, according to the account.

Alvarez said Murray then told him to remove an IV bag from a stand and put it in a blue canvas bag. He did, and noticed the bag had a connector with a milky white substance in it. Alvarez didn't say what happened to the bags, nor did he identify what was in the vials.

The recent discovery of a fake Jah Cure Facebook page has forced Jah Cure's management to take a zero tolerance in protecting Jah Cure's intellectual property. The page which was connected to the email 'universaljahcure@live.com ', since been taken down by Facebook, sought to lure unsuspecting fans and promoters with promises of dubs and information on the artiste. The page also offered booking services for the artiste.






This fraud was brought to the attention of Danger Zone Music Group (DZMG) by an unsuspecting promoter from Belize who paid for dubs through this page and when the dubs weren't furnished approached DZMG querying the transaction. It was at this moment that the promoter realized that he had been scammed.



CEO of the Danger Zone Music Group Delmar 'Della Danger' Drummond while upset about the situation believes promoters need to be extra careful when dealing with international transactions with artistes, he stated: "Only DZMG, SoBe Entertainment and Caribbean Entertainment are authorized to handle Jah Cure's bookings. I would like to extend my sincerest apologies to whoever has fallen victim to this scam but we have to be ever vigilant as with the advances in modern technology many nefarious characters are using the web to rob innocent unsuspecting persons".



DZMG has acted with urgency in seeking to curtail the proliferation of fake Jah Cure pages on social networking sites like Facebook. The company will also cooperate with legal authorities in anyway possible to ensure that the intellectual property of Jah Cure is not violated.

So I am reading this article on the Daily Mail about recently released reports that girls at young as 2 years old are at risk of being raped in Haitian tent cities. It paints a picture of women not being protected by UN soldiers, women who live side by side with their attackers, afraid to speak out. None of that to me was worse than the quote from the Information Minister Marie-Laurence Jocelyn Lasseguee, who said last month: "We are aware of the problem, but it's not a priority.'

First they say that he misappropriated Yele Haiti funds by paying himself and associates. He said yes he received money but he charged below market rates for services provided. Now according to Gawker Wyclef Jean is again being accused of having sticky fingers: they allege that a significant amount of Yele funds went to his assistant with whom he allegedly had an affair. Despite whatever fustration he is feeling, I still think Clef need to handle this with class. So you know how they say a picture tells a thousand words??? Well looking at this picture below you would think that Rihanna was just grinding up on those two robots that accompanied her during her performance of her latest single "Rude Boy" in Berlin recently. It looks rather sexual and many accompanying reports have implied as much.

Was it really though??? I decided to view the performance itself.




From my point of view it was very tongue-in-cheek. The performance wasn't all that but her voice was very strong so I will give her kudos for that. I think she may not have been very interactive because of the language barrier. But back to the bots...I don't really get the water coming out of the eyes part and some allude to sexual innuendo, but I have seen waaaaay worse... and in any case why the surprise when she is singing lines like "come on Rude Boy boy is you big enough?" If you blinked you would have missed it but I guess that is the power of pictures cause however many seconds that lasted, it is cemented in history for ever. Anyways here's another shot, which to me gives a fairer picture of the performance. What say you?

Beyonce arrived in Trinidad earlier in the week for her much talked about and controversial concert.



Here are two video clips of her Palanceing...Of courser the term was made popular by JW and Blaze who won the International Soca Monarch (Power) competition for the song. Vids not the best but still cool to see her take one of her songs ("Check On It") and give it a local flava....that's why I admire her so much...she does everything 150% and she is into the details!

“Dear Dad: Where’s the family in our family, today?”-the story the Marley family apparently doesn't want you to know."is a semi-autobiographical book about Ky-Mani Marley's life released on Amazon.com earlier this week. I say semi as he had help from an outside source, and also because it seems their is bad blood between him and the co-writer Dr. Farrah Gray. I remember when I interviewed Ky-Mani for Caribbean Maco, he spoke of growing up in the ghetto in Florida. Life was not glitz and glamour, he did not even want to sing-at first anyways.

Well like I said the book is out, but he is not happy about what's inside. I think maybe it's a case of Ky-Mani just pouring out his heart (what some people may see as airing out his dirty laundry) and now he doesn't want the rest of the world to see. Maybe some of the information is damaging to his siblings, with whom he has a good relationship now. He issued the following statement about the issue:

I’ve done many things that I am not proud of. I have turned what was largely a destructive lifestyle and turned it into a constructive one. I chose to share my story with the hope that many may be moved to something more positive by the end of the book.

I partnered with a gentleman, Dr Farrah Gray, who I grew to have a great deal of respect for. My journey writing the book was initially very easy and I thought we had built a relationship of respect if nothing else.

During the final edit of the book, I spoke with my sister, Cedella, and I advised Dr Farrah Gray that some changes had to be made and until the changes were made, I was not willing to do any promotion for the book. I could NOT support and promote something that is not 100% mine and that I believe in. Dr Gray apparently thought that by turning something that was written from the heart into something seemingly malicious was going to benefit him in some way.

I did not mean to hurt anyone... The book was only to tell my story, as I know it... What I was led to believe while growing up. The book was not an attack on my family! I love my brothers and sisters more than anyone can know.

I did not expect that Dr Gray would have been unprofessional and malicious in twisting my words or using things that were discussed in confidence to create controversy in an attempt to sell a book.

I did NOT authorize him to make any changes to the cover of my book nor do I condone any of the captions he has written!

At this point I do not know if the content of the book has been altered in any way due to the fact that I have not communicated with Dr Farrah Gray in over a month because he has neither accepted nor returned any of my phone calls.

Damn, son. It's kind of late to unwrite the book. Will let you guys know how this develops.

Michael Jackson's Trin-born lawyer Conrad Murray may face criminal charges for the singer's death.

Prosecutors investigating Michael Jackson's death plan to file a criminal complaint charging the singer's doctor with involuntary manslaughter rather than seek a grand jury indictment, The Associated Press learned Tuesday, a strategy shift that will give an eager public an earlier look at evidence.

While there is no public timetable for charges to be filed against Dr. Conrad Murray, there are strong indications the move is imminent. Murray and lawyer Edward Chernoff have traveled to Los Angeles from Houston, where Murray practices, and the attorney said his client is prepared to turn himself in.

"If they tell him to surrender in 10 minutes, he'll go surrender," said Chernoff, who spent several hours meeting with other members of Murray's defense team Tuesday. "He's never hidden, he's always been available."

David Walgren, the deputy Los Angeles County district attorney handling the case, declined to comment.

Jackson, 50, hired Murray to be his personal physician as he prepared for a strenuous series of comeback performances in London. His stunning death on June 25 in Los Angeles came after Murray, tending to Jackson in the star's rented mansion, administered the powerful anesthetic propofol and two other sedatives to get the chronic insomniac to sleep, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office, which ruled the death a homicide.

According to a statement issued by Vybez kartel, it seems that the Empire does not want to lose on its investment in Kim Hamilton AKA Gaza Kim now KYM

The Portmore Empire invested a substantial amount of money in the career of singer Kim Hamilton--filming music videos, printing promotional posters and clocking several hours in the studio honing her talent. We're disappointed that she felt the need to issue a press release to the media announcing her departure from the record label, Adidjaheim Records, without first notifying the company. This is particularly disturbing given the fact that she is still under contract and the record company has fulfilled its end of the agreement.

Several members of the Portmore Empire have been quick to deny being beaten, as well as any involvement or knowledge of any beating that have taken place in the crew.

As news of an assault on teenage singer and member of the Portmore Empire, Gaza Kim at 'Big Yard', off Mannings Hill Road, spread in the media yesterday, other members of the Portmore Empire have since contacted THE STAR to proclaim their innocence.

Rumours have been circulating that other members of the Empire were being beaten on a regular basis and another artiste was rumoured to have been beaten over the weekend when they defended Gaza Kim.

According to reports in Tuesday's STAR, Gaza Kim was at Big Yard when she and a group of men got into a verbal altercation. THE STAR source claimed that Vybz Kartel arrived on the scene and the men were instructed to beat her. A statement from Kartel, however, denied his involvement in the incident and condemned violence against females and children. A statement from Gaza Kim confirmed that she had been assaulted over the weekend and sought medical attention, details as to what happened, however, were omitted. According to the release, Gaza Kim says she will be taking legal action against her attackers.

Gaza Indu, known for songs such as Virginity alongside Vybz Kartel, was one of the first to call. Indu made it clear that she has never been beaten, nor was she present at the time that Gaza Kim was beaten. Indu said that she was calling all media contacts so as to clear her name. One of the latest females added to the Gaza crew, Sheba, also contacted THE STAR. Like Indu, Sheba stated that she was not present at 'Big Yard' over the weekend and did not appreciate that her name was being called up by the media and in rumours concerning any assault.

Two of the leading male artistes from the Empire, Blak Ryno and Jah Vinci also made contact with THE STAR yesterday. Persistent rumours of being beaten have circulated around both figures. When asked about these rumours Ryno replied, "a lot of things have been said about di Gaza that aren't true. We cannot control what is being said in the media ... I am sure about myself and I have never witnessed any one being beaten on di Gaza."

As for singer Jah Vinci persons have questioned whether he is still a member of the Portmore Empire, after rumours have spread that he no longer hangs with the popular crew. Jah Vinci however, denied these rumours saying, "Gaza fi life."

Jah Cure just released a statement that DNA results prove that he is not the father of a newborn.

There have been recent media reports about a DNA test result that involved Jah Cure. While not wishing to join the media circus that has ensued because of these revelations, Jah Cure wishes to outline a few facts and settle the matter once and for all. Jah Cure has supported the mother throughout her pregnancy and had his father and manager be with her at the time of delivery in the US. His support for her throughout this period was unwavering. Before the birth of the child Jah Cure requested a DNA test, a request which the mother refused. Despite this, Jah Cure continued to support the child and the mother.

Now that the DNA test has been done and it has been shown that he is not the father, Jah Cure wishes to move on.

The fact is that the most important individual in this whole affair is the child and the longer that this continues the more damage is being done to the child. Jah cure will not now abandon the child but wishes that the media respect the privacy of the parties as the child is indeed innocent and did not contribute to the mistakes of the adults involved.

The messed up part is that the mother refused DNA before the birth, Jah Cure sent his father and brother to be with her for the birth and he has to deal with a child that he probably had a bond with. the even more messed up part is this is not the first time he has been accused of fathering a child (a son that time) that was not his. Like I always say when I give opinion, who am I to judge right??? But some women just see entertainers and just think $$$$$$$. I hope that is a lesson for him and other artists to play it safe. After all, according to him condoms "are a must." And true to the press release the child is the ultimate victim. At least Jah Cure is doing a positive thing by still being there. So it was less than a month ago that I went to Vybz Thursdays at The Building (formerly Asylum) in New Kingston. and the DJ's and artists alike are encouranging the crowd, men and women alike to be as vocal as they possibly could about thier distaste for oral sex. I didn't see Lisa Hype at that exact time, but I am sure she was proclaiming that she nah bow, she nah suck bud ray ray ray....well damn...she got found out ya'll. NOT that I care, I already know half these artists who talk about not dong oral just full of shit and they getting down behind closed doors; which is why when I see the crowd repeating and emulating their words with such conviction like I saw in the club, it just makes this situation even more pitiful.

With two private jets on call and a Hollywood wife, the Turks and Caicos prime minister lived like the rich and famous who have made the Caribbean island chain one of the hottest stops for celebrities.

Michael Misick says his lifestyle allowed him to court high-end developers and helped put the British territory southeast of the Bahamas on the map.

But his financial dealings are now the focus of a British investigative commission that is wrapping up hearings this week on the main island of Providenciales.

The Turks and Caicos still answers to a London-appointed governor, who formed the commission last summer after a British Parliament report found complaints of rampant corruption on the islands. The commission could call for a criminal investigation based on what it finds.

The hearings that began Jan. 13 at the Regent Palms Hotel have included sworn testimony from Misick's estranged wife, actress LisaRaye McCoy, that she used a government-leased jet to vacation in Africa, visit her daughter in Switzerland and commute from Los Angeles. The couple also leased a Rolls-Royce and spent more than $1 million on the interior design of their home. Misick has denied abusing public funds.

Investigators said in the hearings that eastern European developer Mario Hoffman acquired resort land at a deep discount and received special tax breaks around the time one of his bankers gave the prime minister a $6 million loan - part of $20 million in personal loans that Misick has amassed from banks, a developer and political appointees.

Misick, 43, a London-educated lawyer and realty broker, testified himself that he continued to collect sales commissions after being elected prime minister.

But he makes no apologies.

When he was criticized for more than doubling his salary and earning more than British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, the stocky leader with a slightly graying goatee replied: "Sir, I submit I have done more for Turks and Caicos than Gordon Brown has done for England."

Now in his second term, Misick is also the tourism minister, the Turks and Caicos' promoter-in-chief. Since he took office in 2003, the gross domestic product in the territory of 22,000 people has more than doubled to $750 million - largely through a resort-building boom.

Island aficionado Mark Amherst of privateislandsblog.com said the Turks and Caicos is "the new No. 1 holiday retreat for A-list celebrities." It's the place where Ben Affleck married, Eva Longoria honeymooned and Bruce Willis built a home.

Misick helped feed the buzz by party-hopping with McCoy, a Chicago-born actress who starred in the television series "All of Us" and appeared in the movie "Beauty Shop."

But his troubles started in July when the commission, led by former British judge Sir Robin Auld, began probing a range of allegations, including claims that Misick and other island officials profited from the sale of government-owned land.

According to the testimony, Misick spent $275,000 in a jewelry store, chartered a jet for a Paris shopping spree and charged more than $1 million to an American Express account with his wife after they married in 2006.

McCoy acknowledged she spent as much as $200,000 a month, but she said it was necessary to buy new hats, gloves and suits to fit her "first lady lifestyle."

The prime minister last month said his government "may have made mistakes," but he is confident no laws were broken.

But the prospect of criminal charges has added to a growing list of problems.

In December, leaders of Misick's own party said they had lost confidence in him. He and McCoy had an ugly breakup, with Misick accusing her of attacking him in August.

Misick urged the commission to consider his finances in the context of the territory. Across the Caribbean, he said, politicians routinely receive personal donations of tens of thousands of dollars with no strings attached.

But he does concede some excesses. Looking back, he said it would have more prudent not to keep two Gulf Stream jets on call.

Misick said he now flies commercial.

A former Bahamas senator has been granted bail on charges she conspired to help extort $25 million from actor John Travolta after his son died from a seizure at a family vacation home.
Pleasant Bridgewater is accused of plotting with an ambulance driver to demand the money in exchange for suppressing a document related to the treatment of the celebrity's son. She was not required to enter a plea at the arraignment Wednesday.
The document would have released emergency responders from liability if the family refused an ambulance, but it did not come into play in 16-year-old Jett Travolta's case, according to Senior Assistant Police Commissioner Marvin Dames.
Celebrity news Web site TMZ.com has reported that Travolta, an avid pilot, considered flying his chronically ill son to Florida before he was driven to the hospital on Grand Bahama island.
It is unclear why the pair allegedly believed the Travoltas would pay to keep the document from being released.
Bail was set at $50,000 for Bridgewater, an attorney from Grand Bahama who resigned her Senate seat following her arrest last week on charges of abetment to extort and conspiracy to extort. Her next court date was set for Feb. 11.
The other suspect, paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, was among those who tried to revive Jett after he collapsed Jan. 2. He has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempting to extort and conspiracy to extort from the movie star.
The actor and his wife, Kelly Preston, returned home to Florida with the ashes of their son shortly after his death.

Well here is what Anthony L Hall of Caribbean Net News says that one of the two women involved in a threesome with the Premier at his mansion while Lisa Raye was out of the country:

Hon. Dr Michael Misick, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI), might
be guilty of many crimes, but, according to a credible witness statement, rape
is not one of them. No doubt you recall the sensational allegation of rape an
American woman filed against Premier Misick last March. And, no doubt, few
people believed him when he issued the following denial: “I strongly and
categorically deny these false and outrageous allegations... I am confident that
I will be completely and fully exonerated.”

However, the signed statement of another woman -- whom I shall refer to only by her first name, Vanessa -- tends to corroborate the Premier’s denial. Not least because she claims to have not only witnessed but also participated in the sexual acts that gave rise to the allegations. Specifically, Vanessa states that she and the Premier began a sexual relationship in Paris sometime in February. Further, that she was a houseguest at his residence in TCI on March 28 when the alleged rape occurred. She confirms that the Premier’s wife, First Lady LisaRaye, was traveling at the time. Vanessa states that the Premier threw a party at which “everyone was having a good time drinking and singing and going into the pool.” And that at some point, just she and the Premier’s accuser – whom I shall refer to only by her first name, Cynthia - ended up in the pool together.

Vanessa states that after a little girl talk, Cynthia suggested they get naked. She notes here that fellow partiers “Mike Pernod and Andrew Ashcroft walked by the pool at one point and saw them but left after saying hello.” Vanessa states that Cynthia then “surprised” her with a kiss on the lips. And that they then proceeded to engage in lesbian sex acts that “went on for a long time.” Vanessa states that at some point the Premier arrived and saw them in flagrante delicto. Further, that she invited him to join in the fun and that he took off his clothes and jumped right in. At this point, she claims that their ménage-a-trois involved her having “sexual contact even while Cynthia was having sexual intercourse with the Premier.” Vanessa states, more to the point, that: “...at no time during their sexual encounter did she hear any complaints from Cynthia....”

Vanessa then states that after a while, they “all agreed to continue inside the guesthouse,” but soon they all fell asleep. Vanessa states that she heard the Premier get up and leave the next morning. And that when Cynthia finally got up Vanessa “asked how she was feeling and started to talk about all the sex with her and the Premier.” Vanessa states that she was “very hurt” when Cynthia became “uptight and agitated”; especially when Cynthia insisted that: “...she didn’t remember anything about that and she has a boyfriend and... she doesn’t do that...”
Vanessa ends her statement by noting that “the Premier along with Ashcroft came
to the guesthouse” later that morning. And that after pleasantries, during which
“Cynthia didn’t say anything” to the Premier about being raped, Ashcroft drove
her to her hotel at Nikki Beach. And that’s the material thrust of her
statement!

(Incidentally, I have omitted the more pornographic parts of her statement in the interest of public decency.) Of course, acquaintance rape (or date rape) is notoriously difficult to prosecute – as the prosecutor in the
William Kennedy Smith case can readily attest. But this is because such “she
said, he said” cases rarely have eyewitness testimony that can corroborate
either the allegation of the accuser or the denial of the accused. In this case,
I can’t imagine any prosecutor filing charges, let alone winning a conviction,
against the Premier given Vanessa’s statement. Moreover, it renders waiting for
FBI forensic evidence a complete waste of time since any finding would be
entirely consistent with consensual sex. Which brings me to TCI Attorney General
Kurt Defreitas; because TCIanders have been waiting anxiously for over five
months for AG Defreitas to either charge the Premier or announce that there is
insufficient evidence to do so. Moreover, I believe there is not only compelling
public interest in putting this matter to rest, but also a categorical
imperative to remove the cloud of suspicion from our Premier if prosecuting him
has virtually no prospect of success. That said, I am acutely mindful of
widespread suspicion that the Premier paid off Cynthia (with either millions of
US dollars or acres of Crown land) to recant her allegations. And I appreciate
that many will immediately suspect that he paid Vanessa to provide this
exculpatory statement as well. However, the problem with these suspicions is
that, even if true, the alleged payoffs would expose the Premier only to charges
for witness tampering and obstruction of justice. Because they would also
fatally compromise any indictment against him for rape since Cynthia’s
credibility as a victim, having accepted the payoff, would be irremediably
impeached. Accordingly, I urge AG Defeitas to quell the fury of speculation over
this rape case by issuing an immediate statement either assuring the public that
there is just cause to continue the investigation, or conceding that there is
not. In addition, it behooves him to indicate if Vanessa’s statement has already
been factored into the investigation, or if it constitutes newly discovered
evidence which might finally compel him to drop the allegations against the
Premier - as I believe justice now demands. That said, I also feel obliged to
urge AG Defreitas to re-examine his decision not to prosecute the Premier on
assault and obstruction of justice charges stemming from his alleged assault of
Mr. Arthur Robinson MP last year. Because I believe there is (was?) sufficient
(direct and circumstantial) evidence in that case to convict him. Not to mention
that, arguably, there is more compelling public interest in holding the Premier
to account for his alleged assault of Robinson than for his alleged rape of
Cynthia.

NOTE: I am reliably informed that members of the Commission of Inquiry
into government corruption in the TCI are currently conducting extensive
forensic investigations into the business and banking activities of government
officials and other suspect individuals. Furthermore, that this phase of the
Inquiry will continue for several more weeks -- at which time select
individuals will be invited to give oral testimony. But bear in mind that this
Commission will have access to all of the evidence TCIslanders submitted to the
UK Foreign Affairs Committee a few months ago.

Please not I am not trying to make light of the situation or relish in this painful time that the Misicks are going through, but ol boy should have known better. When you are a politicion, actor, athelete, whatever there are women who will capitalize on that by any means necessary. Don't put yourself in these situations.
