Dancehall superstar Bounty Killer was arrested early this morning at Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The upbeat crowd, estimated to be about 19,000, were feeling his performance but when he started to use profanity to "diss" other artists like Ninja Man and Beenie Man they became cross, angry, miserable and let him know it with their boos.
The police was waiting when he exited the stage and he was arrested. Bounty Killer is expected to appear in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate court on July 31, 2008.

According to One876entertainment.com, Beenie Man was a no-show at the Pepsi Port Royal Jerk Festival. Apparently due to a lost passport. The site says Tameka Reynolds of Free People Entertainment, who are handling Beenie Man's bookings, said."We tried to contact them very early in the day but they failed to answer the phone, and when we finally got to them, I guess they were not able to appease the audience."
Here are some responses from readers on the site:

"BEENIE DIDNT LOSE HIS PASSPORT, BAR BEE DISTROY IT TO STOP HIM FROM GOING TO JAMAICA , CAUSE SHE THINKS HE IS GOING TO CHECK HIM WIFE. BAR BEE IS A SICKO LIKE THAT. BEENIE U KNOW U AND BAR BEE HAVE A ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP AND U AND HER WERE FIGHTING AND THAT'S WHERE THAT BROKE HAND COME IN.
