According Page six of the New York Post, Swizz Beatz owes the IRS:

Swizz Beatz has again been hit by the tax man. According to public records, the fiancé of Alicia Keys -- who's pregnant with Beatz's child -- was slapped with an IRS lien of $652,727 on June 3 for unpaid 2008 income tax. The music producer, real name Kasseem Dean, has had a string of liens filed against him and his former wife, Mashonda, in New York, Georgia and California. Their debts stand at about $2.2 million. A lawyer for Beatz said, "We have been discussing the issue with the government for years and are currently negotiating an amicable resolution of the dispute."

That probably was all tied up in the divorce dispute...I wonder what Mashonda has to pay????

After putting her husband on blast for cheating (she emailed his co-workers about it), Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon has filed for divorce from her husband Michael.

According to TMZ:

She filed the documents in L.A. County Superior Court on May 10 -- just two days before their 9-year wedding anniversary.
Garcelle and Michael have 2-year-old twins together -- she is seeking joint legal and physical custody.
As for spousal support -- Garcelle has requested that the judge not award anything to Michael.

In other couples news, Swizz Beatz settled out of court with his ex-Mashonda, to avoid going to court on June 10th. She claimed the 31-year-old producer owed $334,000 in delinquent child support and alimony debt.

Swizz Beatz, who is currently on tour with his pregnant fiance Alicia Keys, recently told the New York Post:

his ex's allegations that he owes $325,000 in equitable distribution and $9000 in alimony and child support are "inaccurate" and "overblown" and said that he's gone "above and beyond" to provide for her and their 13-year-old son, Kasseem Jr.

He said he'd agreed to pay Dean more than the judge required and much more than his lawyer recommended - he even had to sign court papers acknowledging that he was going against his attorney's advice.

"I gave over what the judge was recommending to give. I gave her $700,000 upfront, because I thought $200,000 wasn't enough for what she wanted to do. I still get spit in my face for it," he said.

And a little closer to the region. Tessanne Chin is engaged!

I guess with her baby bump showing through her clothes, Alicia Keys felt it was time to just confirm what everybody has been guessing for the last couple of weeks. She is pregnant and the child's father is her soon-to-be husband, producer Swizz Beatz.

According to theYBF, she is 4 months preggers and after her July3rd performance at the Essence Music Festival, she will jet off to France for a July 4th wedding.

Alicia Keys was performing in the Netherlands on the 8th and some new pictures were released of her performance showing what many speculate to be a baby bump. If that is true then that means that she is pregnant for her boyfriend (supposed-to be fiance) Swizz Beatz. Even on her official site, fans are talking about it. Time will tell, I guess.

It seems that as of last Friday Mashonda and Swizz Beatz divorce was made final. Though they had already signed the necessary papers, the deal was sealed by a judge's signature.


And it's on to the next one. Well Mashonda is reportedly writing a book about her life (translation: her relationship with Swizzy) with NY Times best-selling author Aliya S. King.

I got an email with a Breakdown of occult symbols in Run This town and I am not one to read forwarded mail- I get so many, but I read most of it. Now I had to read with a grain of salt. As far as I am concerned people can try to just about anything on this earth with enough coincidental "evidence" and preying on long held superstitions. So this thing about artists selling their souls to the devils is a possibility, but it could also be that they are blessed.

Anyways , Jay-Z premiered his video for “On to the Next One” featuring and produced by Swizz Beatz during NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly Thursday night. It is the fourth single from The Blueprint 3, and samples Justice’s 2007 song “D.A.N.C.E.”. and the Illuminati/Satan/ connections are back. The thing is the images in the song fuel this speculation.

Basically the song is about moving u say from gold to platinum, from Benz ( as in Mercedes) to Range (Rover that is) he is "moving onward/ the only direction/ can't be scared to fail/ in search of perfection. I think by themselves the lyrics are not controversial. When couples with images such as a rosary with a single bullet on either side (at 3:38) a hammer dripping blood, a sequined skull shoes leaking milk, lips leaking blood, black and white contrasts throughout eg black sneaker and white milk it does make you wonder. Is Jay-Z really dealing with the occult? Is he just being creative or he is just being devils advocate (hmm maybe not the best pun) and just yanking our chain?

Well they say you can judge a person by the friends they keep, so is that too say Rihanna is dealing in the occult too??? I have my doubts or maybe I am too much of a fan to want to eaven believe someNot to judge (I mean really who am I to do that) but long time I forget Beyonce as a Christian, she should just call herself spiritual. Cause I doh know what Christian will condone her husband doing a video like that. Art or not.

It's 2009 soon to be 2010 and there is no doubt that this is the information age, where in mere seconds, news is spread via text, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and Youtube. It is digged, Stumbled upon and more. So its no suprise to see or hear celebs giving their opinions online. If fact for the most part I welcome it, as some of my posts are directly sourced from information these artists post. I think that there is a line that must be drawn at some point though and Swizz Beatz just crossed it, and so did Mashonda.





Basically he posted his fustration at being called out for cheating on his wife with Alicia Keys. According to his tweets, he was separated for two years so he did nothing wrong plus he is a good dad and no one is commending him for that. See it here below:

Then Mashonda responds basically confirming what everyone already knows and which Swizz admits to - he was still married.

Ok, if Swizz Beats wants to big up Alicia Keys and thank his fans for their support there is nothing wrong in that. I just think he could have been more tasteful. No mention of his marital issues should have been made. As for Mashonda, she was doubly wrong in responding. She should have stopped at that open letter to Alicia Keys, many people thought her to be the bigger person then. Now, I'm not so sure.

Both of the tweets have been removed but it's to little to late-case in point, my post.

Bottom line, these two need to grow up, move on, finalize this divorce already and focus on their child. Maybe Mashonda needs a man, trust me Swizz and Alicia would be the last thing on her mind.

Well here is more news. Seems, (well maybe that's not the right words, cause she really did to it) Mashonda wrote an open letter to Keys about how she felt Keys was disrespecting her as the 'wife' and mother of Swizz son.
The Twitter post was in response to atweet of Keys: "Having a heated debate n the studio. Now The New York Post confirms that she was there, but The YBF also paints quite a different pic.. according to the sources...it was a suprise party and Mashonda was invited by Swizz. Apparently people were in shock but as the source stated

The song is written byAlicia Keys who personally asked Clive Davis (the album's executive producer) to be on the album. Her boyfriend Swizz Beatz produced the song (aka he made the beat and what not). So far this year the only time their names were together in the news were over his baby mama drama with his ex-wife Mashonda, and the fact that Keys supposedly broke up their relationship. Nice to see them doing something positive with the music vibes.

Hip-hop maestro Swizz Beatz is finally admitting that he and Alicia Keys are an item — but he wishes his estranged wife, Mashonda, would leave the Grammy winner out of their divorce.

For months now, Swizz has been trying to keep his thing with Alicia on the down-low. But he doesn't leave much doubt about who owns his heart on Drake's new "Best I Ever Had" remix.

She gave me a party at the Guggenheim … What's next? The ring? The baby? She really loves me!

Swizz tells us that, yes, he's in love with Keys and, yes, she did give him a birthday party at that museum.

"But we're nowhere near ready for a baby or a ring," laughs Swizz, aka Kasseem Dean. "This whole song is not about Alicia. The part about her cooking breakfast for me naked — she never done that for me." Damn.

Swizz didn't want to talk about Keys till now because, he says, "What we have is so precious." He also felt it would aggravate Mashonda, who's also a singer.

He may have been right. "When he told Mashonda he was dating Alicia, I think she got jealous," says a friend of the couple.

Having filed for divorce in February, Mashonda is seeking interim support for their 2-year-old son, Kasseem Jr., arguing that Swizz has slashed his payments.

"He's been tightening the screws on her," says a friend of Moshanda. "It's becoming intolerable. Meanwhile, she's seen the charges for jewelry he's bought Alicia in France."

During the winter, the heat in Mashonda's Westchester mansion went out. "Swizz wouldn't repair her heat," says her friend. But a pal of Swizz argues, "The house is 30,000 square feet. The heat didn't work in one wing, not where Mashonda and Dean slept. Swizz had been paying all of their bills. On top of that, he was giving her $5,000 a week. His advisers felt that was too much, so now he pays her $3,500 a month, on top of the bills.

"Swizz has put settlement offers on the table, but Mashonda won't say what she needs. She just came back from Paris and London. She drives a Bentley Flying Spur and a Cadillac Escalade. I don't think life's too bad for her."

Mashonda's friend argues that she's resisted his offers "because he's been less than forthcoming about his true financial picture."

Swizz's lawyer, Dan Rottenstreich, insists, "He has taken care of her and his son above and beyond what's required."

Says Mashonda's attorney Bernard Clair: "An application is pending before the court, where the facts will be developed."

Kasseem Dean aka Swizz Beatz was seen in Miami with Alicia Keys and friends (including Spanish singer Alejandra Sanz). As far as many are concerned, that just basically threw their denials of a rumored relationship out the door. Swizz Beatz and Mashonda recently divorced and his supposed relationship with Keys was on wagging tongues as the reason for the breakup.

N.Y. Rapper/producer Swizz Beatz has been tapped by Hennessy V.S. to help launch a new, limited line of cognac, called Hennessy Black. The rapper will perform an original song, "When I Step Into the Club," alongside the JabbaWockeez of "America's Best Dance Crew" during a launch event in New York on May 5. An accompanying video by director Hype Williams will be revealed as well. "Beatz is a long-time fan of the brand and approached us looking for ways we could work together. Since this product is all about having fun in the club, he suggested collaborating on a track that would be a hot dance song in the clubs," Andy Glaser, senior VP of Hennessy Business, tells Billboard.biz. Hennessy will launch a dance contest titled "Up/Down" on their YouYube channel, where consumers will be able to create and post their own "Up/Down" dance for a chance to be flown to LA, where Williams will film and cut them into a new version of the video to "When I Step In the Club."

Hennessy Black, the company's first major launch since 1961, will be available in 10 markets throughout the U.S. including Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, New York City, Ohio, Washington DC and Massachusetts. The company hopes the new drink - which has a blend of Jasmine, daffodils and orange flowers mixed with citrus, honey and grapes - will take the Hennessy brand beyond the cognac category to the premium mixed spirits.

Last year The Lime brought you the news that Alicia Keys was allegedly involved with Swizz Beatz who was in a relationship with singer Mashonda and father to their son Kasseem Dean Jr.

Of course, he denied those rumors. But Mashonda recently contradicted him in a recent interview with Angela Lee on her Lip Service show on Sirius' Shade 45 Station. When it came to the rumors of her finding credit card statements that matched dates and cities on an Alicia Keys' tour ( of which Swizz was a part), she says: "That's a true statement, but that wasn't the first,"

"It's not like I wake up, and I have to snoop," she said. "It's if you recognize -- and this is for anybody, a man, woman, whatever -- if you recognize a dramatic change, and you're asking 'What's the problem?' and you're not getting an answer, you're just gonna have to [find out for yourself]."

Despite all this she says that he is forgiven. The pair separated early last year.
