Congrats to all the winners at last nights's 5th Annual Barbados Music Awards, which was a tribute to Michael Jackon and saw a soul stirring performance by former American Idol Fantasia Barrino. It was held at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Bridgetown. Click HERE for a review of the performances.

Although Rihanna up and down every magazine and website that covers entertainment, the other bajan Diva Shontelle is doing big tings eh. She's opening for Beyonce the baddest girl in da biz right now. Here is a video of her performing "Roll" at O2 Stadium London May25th2009

Now this is a song that she wrote. It's crazy to me how she can write the song and sing the song but just cannot match Alison Hinds when it comes to being the song. Check her out in action:

And no...it's not cause Machel dere, eh. Look at how she work de stage with this chune!!!! Cyan test Alison!

Shontelle is featured on the Confessions of A Shopaholic Soundtrack, in a duet with Akon called "Stuck With Each Other." The song was written by Diane Warren wow. She is soo good some the songs she has penned include: “Un-Break My Heart,” “How Do I Live,” “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing.” Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins produced the track.

Shontelle's debut single “T-Shirt” was one of late 2008’s major break-outs
staying in the Top 20 of the U.S. national mainstream pop radio charts for months in late 2008, and digital sales of the single now approach 600,000. The track has been streamed over 32 million times on her MySpace page.

So her friends are like show us..... here go Shontelle bussin a wine. Sorry????? you come from the land of pelt waist and that is what you doin? Well check out the video for yuhself. (It's the third in the series)
