Remember when I posted pics from AMP's music seminar and Lloyd Stanbury was the guest speaker and delved into issues concerning the business of music, specifically the various contracts one may encounter. Well Richie B is pretty much doing the same thing except its on radio ( on his Hot Mix Show on Hot 102 FM) and not in a long conference but one segment at a time.

The show is called Inside The Music Biz. In the first half an hour session programme innovator, Teddy Laidley and former recording artiste-cum-artiste manager and producer, Michael Bennett, on the topic 'Breaking Into The Music Business'.Check out the show from 3:30 -4pM on
Over the next 13-weeks, topics such as The Noise Abatement Act, The Reggae Compassionate Act, the attitude of the financial industry to the music business, intellectual property, contracts, royalties, electronic music distribution, Internet marketing and promotion, piracy, inadequate local venues and taxation will be featured on Inside The Music Biz.

Check outthe newest countdown show on the web…Its the Digicel CaribbeanHot30 in partnership with Sony Ericsson. It’s a weekly chart which features the 30 hottest songs in the region spanning generes from soca to dancehall reggae and pop. On the top of the list this week is Rihanna with "Take A Bow" followed by "Be Free" Pressure, "Whine Gal "Beenie Man and "MoneyChanger" Mavado.( He isnumber28 with "So Special")
