She's landed in the Nature Isle ya'll and Tomorrow Ce'Cile is gonna be bringing down the house or the Gardens rather at Creole In The Park. Thursday will mark the last day of performances which started this Monday. Ce'cile is a Jamaican artist who has toured extensively in Europe, Japan and the US, and is a staple on the Dancehall/Reggae Scene. Read her interview with The Lime HERE and listen to her tunes!

This is the first Creole in the Park is staged under the company’s new brand as LIME which was launched approximately one year ago on the last day of CITP in 2008. BTW Ce'cile has a special relationship with LIME as she and Beenie Man are featured in a recent summer promotion!

Her performance will be preceeded by Nature Boys who did not perform last year, but could not have picked a better day to perform; St. Croix based, Harry Mo, a Dominican Reggae artist and Ziggy Rankin outta TNT (Red,Black and white!!!) along with cultural acts in between and my boy DJ Midian of Q95 FM.

Taxik Band and Claudette Peters were the other Regional artists at this years CITP.

Local Bands include SOS Band, Kross Vibes, Xcess Groove, Triple Kay International, Bouyon hustlers MFR (Music For Real), WCK Caribbean Vibes, Freddie and Friends. Fanatik Band made it's debut at the event. Cadence legends Chubby and the Midnight Groovers performed which is great as they are not on the lineup for World Creole Music Festival-a travesty in my personal opinion.

Of Course Swinging Stars the longest serving band in Dominica backed up the local calypsonians: reigning calypso Monarch Karessah, former kings Dice, Daddy Chess, Observer and Hunter along with 2009 finalist, Sye and 2009 road march king De Energizer.

Wait, it's not what you think! Of course I'm sure some of you would relish the chance to see this Jamacian diva display her goodies.....don't hold your breath though. Guess her talent is getting her far...The German edition of the magazine published a review of her new album Bad Gyal in their August issue.
