I think he gets it now. You think he get it? No really, Bounty Killer- Hey! There's a time and place for everything dude!!! You don't go gay-bashing at a charity event, k! Ya, so he apparently had diarrhoea of the mouth at Shaggy's Dare to Care concert which had onlookers in shock. I guess he realized his error, or at least his representatives did, as this statement of apology was issued:
After nearly 20 years at the top of the Jamaican music industry I have been involved in many battles - sometimes with fellow artists, sometimes with outside forces and sometimes with the state and its politicians. I've learnt to choose my battles wisely and the grounds upon which to fight them.
I've also learnt when to admit I didnt choose my ground wisely and Saturday night's Shaggy & Friends' show was one of those occasions. With so many politicians and members of the upper echelons of corporate Jamaica present, an audience I rarely get the ears of, I got caught up in the moment while expressing myself. I now realise it was inappropriate and extend my apologies to Shaggy, his sponsors, benefactors and all in attendance who were offended by my performance.Alliance made a pledge to donate $250,000 to the cause and we will follow through on that promise and continue to support Shaggy and answer his call whenever he reaches out.
Bounty Killer apologizes to fans for his behaviour at Shaggy's charity concert.

Ok. It's 2010. New Year. New Rule. I am gonna be bringing you lots and lots of interviews on the regular ok. Even my mom start complaining that I don't update enough. Say what?
Ayways we are kicking things off with a BANG!!!! Of course I am biased towards the ladies so I picked the siren called Ms. Christina Benjamin as the first interview of 2010!!! Let's ask her some tough questions....lol.
Peed outside?
LOL! Anyone who's taken their fare share of trips around the island has been forced to do that at least once or twice!
Been in a parade?
Yes, a bunch of them, but one particular memory stands out-- I had to sing at this Christmas parade in Canada and I had to stand atop this huge float, complete with snowmen and igloos. I was freezing cold because it was around minus ten (10) degrees outside and the float was driving so it was even colder. It ended up being a good time and a decent performance regardless. The next day I had frostbite on my hands and feet though.
Spun yourself around to get dizzy on purpose?
Maybe when I was little, probably pretending to be a ballerina. I hate anything that spins too much, makes me horribly sick.
Tripped on your own feet?
Yes, I'm way too clumsy for my own safety :-P
Worn a uniform to school?
Yes, but you always find a way to make your uniform stand out from everyone else's -- in Jamaica I wore platform shoes to school despite constantly being scolded by my principle. In Canada it was even worse-- I wore bright blue vests with stockings when we were supposed to wear blazers with socks.
Burped a baby?
Yes! I have a godson (Xander) who I absolutely love-- he's the apple of my eye, even if he throws up on me when I burp him or pulls my hair when he doesn't get his way!
Gotten a Brazilian wax?
Hell no, sounds way too painful!
Played a computer game for more than 5 hours?
Yes, when I was younger I was obsessed with Donkey Kong and Mario Kart-- No one could challenge me (mwuahahah)!
Anyone who's heard the song "This Woman's Work" can never forget the haunting yet soothing sound of Maxwell's voice and the soft melody of the accompanying piano. His voice, his face, his body, his persona hmmmm-hmmm-hmmm eight years ago he was so fyyyynee. Guess what he is still just as fine and even more mature. Maxwell returned in 2009 with his second #1 album, BLACKsummers’night, which is up for six Grammys. He talks to Trace TV about the reason for the long break.
Maxwell is very open and candid in this interview. He talks about the themes of the albums in the trilogies BLACKsummersnight, blackSUMMERSnight and blacksummersNIGHT. He says the second album has African influences.. Cannot wait for that! He also mentions his Caribbean cultural upbringing. Listen to the whole thing right. Sooo worth it!

Wyclef is a man I love and respect cause he walks the walk when he talks the talk. Look at these pics of him playing Papa Noel in Haiti this past Christmas. Now of course after tweeting these pics some people post that he should not teach kids about Santa and be a revolutionary and what not. These are kids, and every kid likes to feel special at Christmas, I see nothing wrong with what he did. They will all grow up eventually and they will choose whether they want to celebrate Christmas or not but I am sure they will NOT forget his generosity!

Though Wyclef was performing thousands of miles away in Nigera, Yele Haiti (founded by clef) started the new year by giving soup to the hungry. Trust me it look good eh. I LOVE pumpkin soup!

Look at the smiles! God bless you Wyclef, have an awesome 2010.To follow Wyclef on Twitter click HERE

There are sooooooo many fashion sites, blogs, magazines out there, and each of them have a best of this and best of that list. Of course being the end of the year all the fashion forward and fashion conscious want to know who made the best dressed list of the year.
I am not particularly interested in listing any best of anything on this site. Just follow my post and just choose for your self seen. Anyways I thought that this site did a pretty good job of rating the fashionable Divas of 2009. OF course Rihanna top the list. I mean comeon. Does soca go with carnival????

Does new Music Video confirm that Jay-Z is dealing in the occult? and is Rihanna by extension?
I got an email with a Breakdown of occult symbols in Run This town and I am not one to read forwarded mail- I get so many, but I read most of it. Now I had to read with a grain of salt. As far as I am concerned people can try to just about anything on this earth with enough coincidental "evidence" and preying on long held superstitions. So this thing about artists selling their souls to the devils is a possibility, but it could also be that they are blessed.
Anyways , Jay-Z premiered his video for “On to the Next One” featuring and produced by Swizz Beatz during NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly Thursday night. It is the fourth single from The Blueprint 3, and samples Justice’s 2007 song “D.A.N.C.E.”. and the Illuminati/Satan/ connections are back. The thing is the images in the song fuel this speculation.
Basically the song is about moving u say from gold to platinum, from Benz ( as in Mercedes) to Range (Rover that is) he is "moving onward/ the only direction/ can't be scared to fail/ in search of perfection. I think by themselves the lyrics are not controversial. When couples with images such as a rosary with a single bullet on either side (at 3:38) a hammer dripping blood, a sequined skull shoes leaking milk, lips leaking blood, black and white contrasts throughout eg black sneaker and white milk it does make you wonder. Is Jay-Z really dealing with the occult? Is he just being creative or he is just being devils advocate (hmm maybe not the best pun) and just yanking our chain?
Well they say you can judge a person by the friends they keep, so is that too say Rihanna is dealing in the occult too??? I have my doubts or maybe I am too much of a fan to want to eaven believe someNot to judge (I mean really who am I to do that) but long time I forget Beyonce as a Christian, she should just call herself spiritual. Cause I doh know what Christian will condone her husband doing a video like that. Art or not.
Oh yeah. Click HERE to see for yourself.
Sexy Conservative? or Conservative Sexy? How would you describe Rihanna's Dubai approved concert outfit?????
There were rumors that Rihanna's concert gear would be censored, but promoters stated that those rumors were unfounded. Here are some shots of Rihanna's Dubai performance held on the lawns of the Royal Palace on Dec 31st 2009. I think she strikes a nice balance. What you say?

Tan-tan-da-ddaaaaaa! It's here guys! Welcome to 2010!
First and foremost I want to thank God for bringing me into this new year, I want to thank my family and friends for their love and support especially my brother Omari Lockhart AKA 5.8 and my mom Jacinta Bannis. Thanks to everyone who reads this site and continue to compliment me on the content.
Blogging takes up ALOT of my time and there are times I just want to quit. And then I go online and look for Caribbean entertainment news and shit is just all over the place. Then I think if I am this fustrated then I bet there are others just like me, so of course being the Taurus that I am, I like to help -and so I keep on posting.
This is going to be my first year blogging as a non-working university student so please show some love and donate to the site. I would love to make some upgrades in the coming months. This year I plan on posting interviews on a weekly basis, so look out for that. And I want to make a more concerted effort to report more entertaiment news from islands such as Grenada, St. vincent and St. Lucia. My original goal with this blog was to show that Caribbean Entertainment is not just Jamaica, Trinidad and Barbados. Dominica you know I represent for you 100 percent. I just wish Dominican artists would take advantage of my natural bias towards you guys and send me more info/pics what have you. We'll see how this year goes.
Friends, just be safe this year, and try to improve on 2009. I have the same personal resolution I have every year but this year I am not even gonna really focus on it. I am just gonna live one day at a time and things will work out.
And artists stop the beefing, especially the women. Just when the fellas dem stop den?
