Ok so Wyclef lost his Miami home to foreclosure, like many American homeowners who are just trying their darndest to make it through these tough economic times. He could have just shrugged it off and move on. But living up to his title as an ambassador, the Haitian-born, Grammy-winning entertainer is helping those who have been in his situation and those who are close to the brink of losing their homes.
To raise awareness of this issue, Jean along with Queen Latifah and Angie Martinez, are lending their faces to the "Bringing Hope Home" Campaign. Organizers provide a 24-hour hotline (888) 995-4673 making counseling available in English and Spanish. Callers get advice on how to avoid foreclosures.
The three artists went on tour in New Jersey visiting various communinty centers. The tour continues to Atlanta, Miami and Cleveland
