As Dominica was in the climax of its Independence celebrations, St Kitts launched it's annual carnival season. Carnival runs from December 18th to January 2, under the theme "Nuff Rhythm. Plenty Lime Carnival 2008/2009"
Look out for several recurring events this year, including the 29th edition of the Digicel Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant, with representatives from 11 islands.
