Macia Weekes is a Jamaican born scriptwriter who wrote and co-directed Hush. A movie that targets issues many young persons face. It is the story of Mikisha who lives in a one parent home (and we know who that usually is) she is three months away from taking her CXC's, she has a very strong faith but is suddenly faced with a decision that will test that faith. Exxtra Exxtra scoop. Peter Ram is in the movie, we spoke recently here on his visit to Dominica and he was not only excited about his role but the impact it will have on engaging discussion on topics such as peer pressure, abortion, parenting, faith, sex and condom use. The movie has been shown in several schools in Barbados and Jamaica will be released hopefully in other islands throughout the region.!!!
