Tanya Mullings, daughter of the late Karl Mullings (co-founder of the largest Caribbean festival in North America--Caribana) could not have picked a more fitting time to sign on for North America's Premier Reggae Festival Irie Jamboree. Representatives from the festival (which will take place in New York on August 31st ) travelled to Canada for the launch of the event during the Caribana celebrations. Her father would have been proud!

Tanya has performed on the international stage and has received many honors in recognition of her talent including 14 Canadian Reggae Music Awards (CRMA), 7 Caribbean Crucible Awards, 4 Juno Nominations and 2 Reggae Music Achievement Awards (RMAA).

Look out for her upcoming album Music Is My Life.
