The Caribbean Festival of Arts (CARIFESTA) will be held in Guyana in 10 days on August 22nd 2008. It was recently announced that the Guyanese government is waiving departure tax and relaxing visa requirements for visitors that arrive during the hosting of the event, which is in its tenth year.
