Former Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam singer Teairra Mari is in the latest issue of KING magazine where dishes on her feelings about Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Rihanna. Apparently she was upset at some comments Rihanna made in Atlanta's Peach magazine concerning her being let go from Jay-Z's label. In the magazine Rihanna said, “You have to be good to people. I could very easily say its all karma…”

According to www.outaroad.com on Sunday night, neighbours to his upper St Andrews home heard a motorcycle on his street, then an explosion and the motorycycle speeding off. Some feel that it was due to the developing beef between Mavado and Kartel (which Kartel denys). I'm sure investigations have ensued and we will keep you posted on any new info that surfaces.

17-year old Carlton Grant Jr., son of Reggae and Dancehall superstar Spragga Benz, was murdered in Kingston on August 23rd. He was shot by police. Allegedly he was shot after he surrendered --WITH HIS HANDS IN THE AIR. He was shot again after he fell to the ground. Of course the police say he was armed and they were compelled to chase and subsequently shoot him.

Police drove him to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His mother was with him. His father was in New York at the time. Our condolences go out to Spragga Benz and his family.

He was greatly influenced by RnB legends such as Marvin Gaye. But don’t get it twisted he loves his Beres too. He never forgot his culture as he spent part on his childhood in Barbados and then returned for frequent vacations visiting his grandmother, so yes he loves jerk and flying fish and I'm sure he could bus a wine or two (or as they say in BIM "wukkup"). Leona Lewis performed the Led Zeppelin classic"Whole Lotta Love" with guitarist Jimmy Page during the Closing Ceremony for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games at the National Stadium (The Bird'sNest) in Beijing, China. In the original, recorded in 1969, Robert Plant sings, “I’m gonna give you every inch of my love.” But in the version that was sung, Lewis, 23, changed the words to “every bit” of my love. The band also agreed to a request from organizers to drop the third verse, which includes similar sexual innuendos, to fit in to the 8 minute performance.

She looked like she was having a rocking old time but for my part the audio sucked. I did enjoy the overall ceremony and it was pretty neat to see that London doublecab convert into the stage where she performed.

BTW is it me or does she look like she's had a nose job??? Imma have to investigate.....
