Rihanna's take a bow is #4. She broke recrords with this song by becoming the female artiste with the biggest ever jump to the Billboard Hot 100 music chart soaring from number 53 to number 1 in just one week. this was mainly due to huge digital download sales of 267 000 in one week, while signalling her third United States number 1 single following SOS and Umbrella.
The digital success sees Rihanna holding two of the top three positions in first week digital download, with only Umbrella and Mariah Carey's Touch My Body having been downloaded more. Rihanna last year dominated world charts and sales with Umbrella, which stayed atop the British charts for a record ten weeks. Prior to that, in 2006 she jumped 33 rungs on the Billboard Hot 100 charts to hit the number 1 spot with SOS.
Richie Spice is also on the Reggae Charts for his new album `Gideon Boot,` produced by the legendary Bobby Digital Dixon, which debuted at number 1 . Now in its third week on the chart it has gone down to number four. At number three is Collie Buddz with his self-titled track, at number 2 is Stephen Marley with Mind Control and the NUmber 1 Reggae Album is Soca Gold...Somebody please pick me up off the floor cause this is sooo freakking funny its sad really.
I guess it had to go in some category right....one day boy one day....I hope I will see soca category somewhere on the international scene
