Point High School was crowned Queen at the Digicel Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant on Monday December 29th. She ended the night with a total of 737 points along with awards for the SKNVibes Miss Photogenic award, Best Ambassadorial Wear and Best Evening Wear. A total of 11 countries participated in the annual event.

Photo sourceSt Kitts has a new carnival queen... She is 25 year old Samantha Boone who hails from Old Road. Sponsored by St Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank, she not only made off with the crown (459 points), she won best swimwear, best costume and best evening wear. She is a property manager and part time teacher with hopes to earn her Masters in business.
Former National Carnival Queen Mariece Roberts took her final walk last night and the 2008/09 Queen was crowned by the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Hon. Denzil Douglas.

Her song entitled "Done Pay" sheds light on domestic issues with men pulling women out of the club after the “done pay” to go home and take care of kids. photo sourceSinging Jackie is the 2008/2009 Female Bacchanal Queen of St Kitts, dethroning Queen Anastasia who was seeking her fourth consecutive win. Singing Jackie's song was entitled "Practice tough love"way they should grow, especially their sons. A schoolteacher by profession, she last won at this competition in 2004.
